One of my favorite things to do is to draw live events. Drawing an event adds another layer of experiencing any gathering. Because the drawing takes time to make, it is the sum of everything that happens while it is made. People watching, are more engaged in seeing as they look back and forth between what is and what I have chosen as the essence of what is. With this stereo seeing, people can triangulate on a richer state of being, beyond each of our individual capacity of perception.
If you would like me to do live projected drawing, in full color from a tablet,or Ink brush drawing projected live, or non projected live drawing or painting at your gathering,I offer this service starting from $100/ hour with a $300 minimum for the first hour. Select packages may include my sharing high resolution photos of the work that the client can use for publicity or share with their guests.

People making art is a subject that has held my attention all my life. It gets down to the essence of what it is to be a conscious being. Making art, though it involves materials, it is about the immaterial because in it we transform existing things into awaken each other to the mystery of being in the world.
All of these were made live with very little if any work after the live moment, which is between 1 and 4 hrs.

These are some things I've built. In this gallery are the scale drawings and the finished result.
Of all my interdisciplinary disciplines, Dance is most crucial to the core of my being. It informs all the others and keeps my vehicle and spirit alive. Dance holds the infinite options of being human in a way that awakens self and it's witnesses to the miracle of existence. As long as one has the ability to move a muscle, one can dance. The tools of art: position, timing, texture, contrast, relationship emotional color, humanity are available and perhaps even most potent when physically limited. The notion consumed in big gulps from the styrofoam cup of corporate culture, that Dance is the realm of "beautiful" breeders only, separates our uniquely mysterious body from our uniquely mysterious soul and leaves us slumped in a chair in front of the flat screen of death, dancing with the stars. High on my list of life purpose's things to do, is to create safe place for all of us to move as we delight by doing so often, everywhere.

These are Paintings and drawings done before I moved to New York 12 years ago. Many are about my life there being an organic farmer.
Here are some sketches for ocean and urban dwellings that incorporate a biologically diverse biome for their skin and their core, that recover nutrients from waste water, cool hot cities provide structure, food, wood and fiber and are a beautiful setting for dematerialized life where people share more time and less stuff.
These are images about the house I built in Barnet Vermont that I sited 15 feet below the spring so there is water pressure in the house without pumping and the grey water from the sinks and baths flows by gravity through a biologically diverse series of gardens and pod ecosystems to transform the "Waste" nutrients into greens and flowers. It is built from recycled materials and from whole logs cut on site. It has a two chambered composting toilet. It is solar powered and off the grid,
Music is code revealed of all things. Making marks in the presence of makers of notes, I sync and this math of mystery informs the timing and the textures of my stokes as I show/ tell the story of these humans search for what is what.
People healing, meditating, talking to each other and just generally being without the weight of stuff and tired ideas getting in the way.
